This is for the ignorant people...I LOVE HBCU's!!!

Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs)
In the late 19th century, colleges for black students were started in box cars (Atlanta University) and church basements (Spelman College). Mary McLeod Bethune, one of the nation's foremost black educators, opened a college in 1904 with $1.50 and 5 students. Today, there are 106 historically black colleges and universities in the United States, who can count among their graduates such luminaries as W. E. B. Du Bois (Fisk University), Thurgood Marshall (Lincoln University and Howard University), Toni Morrison (Howard University), and Martin Luther King, Jr. (Morehouse College).

How Dare You Question The Value of My Education...

I saw a video of a young lady...who refused to identify herself as black because she felt as if members of the african-american race are "coons" and "niggers"...She disrespected HER RACE and the value of education at Historically Black Colleges/Universities (HBCU's).

I took offense to it because I know the value of my education as well as the millions of others who have attended and graduated from HBCU's...I am a proud graduate of Prairie View A&M University with a Bachelors of Science in Mechanical Engineering and worked my ass off to earn it.

For anyone who has the ignorant mindset and lack of knowledge regarding HBCU's google it because I don't teach ignorance.

Closet Rebel...?

Ok...feel me on this.

There's so much that i could've done and been into were it not for me caring about the feelings of my family and religious values...

I do see that the life I've chose to live is better than what I could've lived...but damn...sometimes i just wanna break out and do what i wanna do.

I try to say that law school was all my idea and it's in my heart...but that's not the case so you read between the lines...BUT...it was my decision to go through with it so I'm gonna stick it out and become one tough ass lawyer in a few years. But are there days when I wonder WHY? HELL YEAH.

But, I digress...

The one thing that I am gonna go through with that is probably against how my fam feels is gettin a tattoo...I've been contemplating on gettin one for years but never had the guts to go through with it. My dad doesn't like tats...but his ass has about 5 fraternity brands...yeah, gon and say it...WTF?! I know...i say that too!

So...yep i'm gonna do it...hopefully soon. I plan on gettin a tat of my astrological sign...which is Gemini...yep, Gemini's are the best...don't hate! lol

It is said that:
"Geminis are multi-faceted souls who enjoy knowing a little bit of everything but generally not too much about one particular subject. It's just that variety is the spice of their lives! In Astrology, Geminis have also gained the reputation of being the incessant talkers of the zodiac. Those Twins that don't have the 'gift of the gab' are usually talented writers or have a special interest in foreign languages. In love, they look for a partner who can keep up with them mentally and physically! And, to quote Oscar Wilde, "there's one thing worse than people talking about you, that's people not talking about you." Whether Geminis like it or not, people are usually "talking about them". Together with Scorpio and Virgos, they are a sign that is often discussed, dissected and sometimes even put down by the other signs of the zodiac. Sometimes this is a subtle form of jealousy by others, because Geminis do lead very unique and unusual lives. The Gemini personality can appear mysterious or detached to others and therefore they are often misunderstood and unappreciated for the talents they offer to the world at large. "

WOW...that description fits me to a T...I'm not sure how far i'll go with the tat design wise but it won't be anything too big...just wanna keep it cute and sexy...Pics will be posted when I get it done.

So he apologized...

Ok Mr. West...I still meant every word I said in the previous post...But, I'm glad he saw the wrong in his actions and apologized.

Jay Leno struck a nerve with the "mama" question...cause she probably turned over in her grave after that display of sheer ignorance by her son...but I digress.

Good job on apologizing...
